Due to the ideal biotype and living conditions, Croatia is one of the rare European countries where brown bear populations are strong and stable. Bears dwell in the regions of Gorski Kotar and Lika, in the mountainous areas of untouched and calm nature, the lowland areas are mainly transient hunting grounds.

The trophies earned over the past few years prove the exception quality of our bear, with fur trophy values often surpassing 350 CIC points. The croatian champion has 525,89 CIC points. Hunting is organized with expert guides in well prepared closed shooting stands which offer comfort for the hunter as well as the possibility of observation and a sure shot.
